Pelvic Mechanics for Birth Workers & Movement Pros: May 1, Seattle WA

If you’re on the east coast, you can join us here: June 6 in Brooklyn, NYC and September 19 in Asheville, NC

This is a one-day, hands-on workshop focused on pelvic mechanics for pregnancy and birth.

You’ll learn how to create space in the pelvis and reduce tension in the pelvic floor to better support your clients during birth prep. We do not wait until labor to figure this out. We build movement capacity during pregnancy so those positions are already accessible.

You’ll leave with a clear understanding of what movements support more optimal birth preparation.

In the second half of the workshop, we break down labor. You’ll learn how to use positions to create space and how to address common labor stalls with movement strategies.

This is also a great opportunity to connect with other perinatal professionals and learn from shared experiences.

If you can’t make it in person but still want to learn, check out our online Pelvic Mechanics course. You can earn ICEA credit hours and nursing credits there as well.

Hope to see you at an upcoming workshop!

Gina & Roxanne

I'm a birth doula and attended Mamaste Fit's Pelvic Mechanics Workshop. The wealth of knowledge was incredible! I couldn't believe how fast the day flew by - as well as how fast my fingers were flying trying to take notes haha. Everything Gina had to say was just full of wisdom and intelligence and I am so grateful to have soaked it in. I am especially excited to have learned great exercises to help my clients prenatally with not only aches and pains, but to prepare them for a smoother labor.
This course goes beyond the typical inversion & side-lying release that I'm used to. WAY beyond it! If you want to learn that plus details of how babies move throughout the levels of the pelvis during labor and how to help influence said babies - this course is for you. :)

Hey there! Lots of new FREE content was shared this week on our various channels! If you didn't know, we are post daily on Instagram (sometimes a few times a day), 2-3 times a week on our YouTube channel with longer form content, and I try to do a weekly blog. We firmly believe in sharing as much as we can because we all deserve a strong and comfortable pregnancy, an empowered birth, and to feel like ourselves again postpartum without finances being a barrier to that. With that being said, we...

Hey there! In this week's newsletter, I’m breaking down the difference between hip rotation and pelvic rotation, and why both matter for pelvic stability, birth preparation, and labor itself. You’ve probably seen a lot of content lately talking about how hip internal rotation is the missing piece in training. And they’re right! Hip rotation is incredibly important. But what often gets missed is that we also need pelvic rotation. Hip rotation relates to how the femur moves in the pelvis. These...

Hey there! This week’s newsletter is breaking down the difference between hip rotation and pelvic rotation. Both are important for your pelvic floor health and hip function, but pelvic rotation is typically overlooked. So, let’s break it down. What’s the difference between hip and pelvic rotation?? Hip rotation includes internal rotation and external rotation. You’ve probably seen a lot of social media posts promoting how beneficial hip internal rotation (IR) is with a lot of great exercises...
