Pelvic Mechanics for Birth Workers & Movement Pros: June 6, 2026, Brooklyn NYC

Other Upcoming Workshop Dates:

In this one-day workshop, we break down pelvic mechanics at the inlet, midpelvis, and outlet, and how to use movement to support baby’s positioning throughout pregnancy and labor. You will learn how to assess what is happening in the moment and choose positions based on what your client actually needs, rather than cycling through positions and hoping something works.

We also focus on something that often gets overlooked. You do not need to wait until labor to figure this out. You can assess and prepare during pregnancy to help create space in the pelvis and support a more efficient labor process.

This is a very hands-on, practical workshop. You will leave with tools you can immediately start using with your clients.

I'm a birth doula and attended Mamaste Fit's Pelvic Mechanics Workshop. The wealth of knowledge was incredible! I couldn't believe how fast the day flew by - as well as how fast my fingers were flying trying to take notes haha. Everything Gina had to say was just full of wisdom and intelligence and I am so grateful to have soaked it in.
I am especially excited to have learned great exercises to help my clients prenatally with not only aches and pains, but to prepare them for a smoother labor.
This course goes beyond the typical inversion & side-lying release that I'm used to. WAY beyond it! If you want to learn that plus details of how babies move throughout the levels of the pelvis during labor and how to help influence said babies - this course is for you. :) Thank you so much, Gina and Roxanne!

Can't make it in-person?? Join our online course!

If you are not able to make it in person, our online Pelvic Mechanics course is a great option. The online course is approved for 9 nursing and ICEA continuing education hours, and you get lifetime access so you can learn at your own pace and revisit the material anytime.

Hey there! Lots of new FREE content was shared this week on our various channels! We firmly believe in sharing as much as we can because we all deserve a strong and comfortable pregnancy, an empowered birth, and to feel like ourselves again postpartum without finances being a barrier to that. With that being said, we...

Hey there! In this week's newsletter, I’m breaking down the difference between hip rotation and pelvic rotation, and why both matter for pelvic stability, birth preparation, and labor itself. You’ve probably seen a lot of content lately talking about how hip internal rotation is the missing piece in training. And they’re right! Hip rotation is incredibly important. But what often gets missed is that we also need pelvic rotation. Hip rotation relates to how the femur moves in the pelvis. These...
