Stay Strong in Pregnancy and Motherhood!

Some of our most popular courses include our Prenatal Fitness Programs, which are a staple MamasteFit offering. The prenatal fitness program started as a self-paced strength program in TeamBuilder and has expanded to include a full strength program, a mini workout program, and now a video-based workout program. All three programs sync to your current week of pregnancy, so you can start anytime.

In addition, over the next week or so, I will be updating our prenatal self-paced workouts to also include a low-equipment version of every single workout. Stay tuned for that upgrade, and if you are already signed up, you will automatically receive the updates.

Our Postpartum Return to Fitness Program is another staple program of ours. This program includes both self-paced workouts and video-based workouts, so you can choose what works best for you on each workout day. The workouts are also split into three parts, making it easy to break them up based on daily demands, which can change quickly thanks to our little humans.

These programs have grown significantly over the past 8+ years, and with each pregnancy, we have continued to improve them. We did not create our fitness programs based solely on our own individual experiences. Instead, they were built through years of working in person with real-life clients like you, along with close collaboration with our in-house pelvic floor physical therapists.

We combined our experience as birth workers, Gina as a birth doula and Roxanne as a labor nurse and now midwife, with our hands-on work supporting clients through pregnancy and postpartum to create these comprehensive programs.

Hey there! Last week I shared how my motherhood fitness journey has shifted. For almost a decade, my training cycles revolved around preparing for pregnancy, prenatal fitness and birth prep, then postpartum recovery. There was always another restart coming. And now there isn’t. This might sound repetitive at this point, but I am definitely complete with four kids. I do not want more babies. But I am still sad that my pregnancy and birth chapter is closing. With every chapter shift in my life,...

Hey there! I hope your week has been going well. I’m on my way back from Los Angeles after teaching our pelvic mechanics workshop this past weekend. It was such a great group, and I’m excited to share that we’ve added another workshop to the schedule in Asheville, NC this fall. We are also working on another LA workshop for November for our California folks who missed this last one. See our full workshop schedule In addition to teaching, I also ran the Disneyland Half Marathon. I snagged a...

Hey there! This week’s newsletter is all about returning to running after pregnancy. I took about a 10 year hiatus from racing after competing in college and into my early adulthood. Running was still part of my life, but getting back into racing felt hard as I navigated pregnancy after pregnancy. Running often felt really uncomfortable during pregnancy, and then once I finally felt ready to train and race again, I also felt ready to have another baby. It was a beautiful cycle, but it meant...
